CONSULTANCY & STRATEGY CELL
The Consulting and Strategy Cell of MBA – International Business, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics aims to explore and enhance the student community’s interests in consulting and strategy for improvement and growth at the same time. It is a student-run initiative that aims to provide students a platform for exploring the world of consulting.
The objective of this cell is to develop young minds to become efficient problem solvers of tomorrow.
The cell aims to transmit and boost the interest and knowledge of students in the field of consulting and strategy by organising various events like Guest Lectures/Workshops, Case Study Competitions and Article Writing, Industry Analysis and Skill Development activities to enhance their acumen via teamwork. These competitions are being organised throughout the year to get students equipped with industry standards and enhance the level of practical and corporate exposure. Guest Lecture/Workshops provides students an opportunity to interact and extract valuable insights and inferences from the leading minds in the industry.
The team has various flagship events and launched many initiatives round the year to expand its domain and enhance the learning process. The major events include:
Pen It Down: Chakravyuh - All India Article Writing Competition
Conundrum – Intra College Consulting Case Study Competition
CaseNova – Inter College Case Study Competition
In the light of recent trends and developments, the Cell has also launched an outreach programme named ‘Convergence’ where the team collaborates with Consulting clubs of other B-Schools and they conduct joint webinars and Industry Analysis and skill development sessions.
