TEAM CONVENTION

Team Convention is one of the oldest committees of Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics which is committed towards organizing the flagship event of the college - Annual Business Convention: "Erudition”. We are amongst the most dedicated committees of the institute, as we also organize the TEDxDepartmentofCommerce and the Valedictory Ceremony of our college. Our legacy lies in organizing and managing successful events which have been synchronous with the reputation of our esteemed institute and always been the recipient of appreciation and attention. We are a group of individuals dedicated towards enhancing the interaction with corporate leaders and various organizations that grace our events with their presence. We invite eminent speakers from varied backgrounds to honour our events and also collaborate with numerous sponsors and event partners to be part of our grand events.

About Us

The Annual Business Convention is the flagship event of the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics and is organized jointly by MBA-IB and MBA-HRD. This is a student run initiative which is organized each year with the focus of gaining insight into the thought process of corporate and policy makers at large. It is a common platform for industry leaders, financial and marketing gurus, entrepreneurs, scholars and students to come together and discuss topics of relevance and enhance their understanding of the corporate and business world.

ERUDITION

Erudition

TEDxDOC

TEDx is a program licensed by TED, that maintains the spirit of TED talks. It involves live speakers from various fields and recorded TED talks. Through TEDx we aim at creating ripples and establishing our brand image, by making it a recurring annual event. We aim to provide a common platform to people from varied backgrounds like art, music, business, civil service, defense etc. to share their life journeys and experiences. The idea is to impart learnings and life lessons to our audience, which gets to hear from some of the most successful people in their respective fields and draw inspiration and ideas to become leaders of the future.

TEDx

The ceremony is organized every year to bid farewell to the outgoing batch. It marks the successful accomplishment of 2 years of hard work, commitment and sacrifice of the students of the institute. It is an event which holds utmost importance in the college as it marks the beginning of a new journey for our students towards being the leaders of tomorrow.

GUEST LECTURES

Guest lectures serve as excellent means to enhance the learning of our students by interaction with a field expert. It helps to gain useful insights and augments the knowledge base of the students in different fields. Our guest speakers bring years of experience and expertise and also make us aware of the current scenario in the outside world. Thus, in order to ensure a more conducive environment to motivate learning, we also organize numerous Guest lectures throughout the year.
