Hostel facility can be availed by select number of students at the University hostels based on merit basis. University Hostels are equipped with various facilities like Dining hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner, common room for recreational activities, Computer room, Cafeteria for snacks, Gym etc.

CANTEEN

No matter which college the student belongs to, you will find them eating in the amazing canteen of Delhi School of Economics. Once this place was popular as an Indian coffee house but now it is known for its lip smacking food. It is one of the most popular canteens in North Campus. The surprising part of the whole thing is that you won’t just find students at this place but also teachers and people from outside enjoying their day.

Even though the college is closed on weekends but you won’t find the place dull. It is always full of visitors who love this place and don’t forget coming here to have fun. If you are lacking the experience of this great place then you must head there now. And yeah don’t forget having a sip of tea from the J P tea stall which is just right outside the canteen.

CONVENTION CENTRE

The Convention Centre of University of Delhi is a state-of-the-art centre for holding symposia, conferences and workshops. It is fully equipped and has a hall with a capacity of 500 people and three smaller halls which can accommodate around 50 people each.

RATAN TATA LIBRARY

Famously known as RTL, Ratan Tata Library is located inside the Delhi School of Economics campus. The library is home to more than 3 lakh volumes of books, periodicals, documents and journals. RTL has been designated as a repository of various Union and State Government publications as well as publications from International institutions like UN, IMF, World Bank, UNDP and ILO. A Common reading hall which has seating capacity of 120 students. Some of the best journals like the Harvard business Review, Bell Journal of Economics and Management Science (USA), British Journal of Industrial Relation, Behavioural Science of University of Louisville Kentucky (USA) and a host of other.

SEMINAR HALL

The seminar room is an ultra modern air conditioned room equipped with the latest multimedia projection system. It serves as the venue for holding guest lectures and corporate interaction programmes.
